Embeding HTML code into final packaged quiz?

Mar 15, 2016

Hello, I am new to this forum and to the Articulate suite of products. I have one small problem I am trying to work out.

Here is the project: I have an online quiz produced with StoryLine2.

Problem: My client has hired a Marketing company to promote the quiz and the marketing company wants to use some data collection HTML codes. These codes (scripts) are placed into an existing HTML document. The scripts from this code produce data for the marketing company to monitor. The data generated shows when someone goes to the site to take the quiz and if they came from Facebook or Twitter.

Problem Breakdown: From my published quiz, I have included this HTML code into the story.html file and the story.html5.html files. I opened both files into Dreamweaver and added the supplied marketing code. Everything works just as expected. Now, the marketing people are wanting to have the same code scripts added to the end of the quiz. At the end of the quiz, the data will show when someone has completed the quiz and if they jump to Facebook or Twitter from supplied links on the thank you page. My problem is there is no "end" html document that I can place that into. I read something here about a "report.html" file but I cant find it.

Question: Is there a way to include some HTML code into the final slide of the quiz? My only idea is to build an external (seperate from the quiz), "Thank You" splash page that the final slide links to, and place my html code into that document. Any other thoughts? Ideally, it would be great to embed the code into the final slide somehow.

Thanks in advance for any help.
