I just did a test publish of my SL2 project to word and it works fine - unzipped and zipped. Just confirming you have Word on the machine where you are publishing?
Have had the IT guys double check this and I am definitely publishing to a local drive, I definitely have word on the computer but still coming up with an empty output folder? Any other suggestions?
just tested the Export translation function and that is working as expected for me.
I have seen this behaviour with another content management software where we couldn't publish to Word - am trying to get onto my techie guy to confirm what we did.
What version of Word are you using? Have you been able to publish before with this version of Word/SL combination?
Update from my techie: We were trying to publish to a network drive and didn't have privileges on the folder we were publishing to...that probably doesn't help if you are publishing locally - although you could look into the profile account to make sure you have read/write access
Wendy shared another good thread - but I'd be curious to know if you were on SL1 or SL2 and if you've already gone through the appropriate repair steps depending on your version? Can you also confirm you're on the latest update of each (Update 8 for SL1 and Update 3 for SL2)? You can check which update number you're on by going to the Help tab -> About Articulate Storyline.
Let us know if you are able to check into those and still are having difficulty.
