End Zoom region upon triggering new layer via object?

Aug 19, 2015

I am wanting to zoom back out as soon as my new layer is triggered by the user clicking on an object.  Any suggestions on how this might work?

Sorry it was meant to say unpause but autocorrect bit me.

You could show your zoom region and at the point the zoom in occurs set a trigger to pause the slide (may be easier to use a cue point as it can be dragged back and forwards to refine the pause).

Then add a button or object that is clicked to zoom out, intact what happens is that you unpause the slide and it zooms out

I'm doing a test simulation and in my base layer have used zoom on many screens to make it easier for participant to see content.  Issue I'm having is if they click the wrong hotspot, the slide layer of incorrect or correct boxes are getting caught in my zoom so only half the window is displayed in zoom.  Is there a way for the correct button to just sit on top and not get zoomed?

Hope this makes sense

Hi Pierrette,

It would help if we're able to see what your set up is that you've described here, but my guess is that since it's zooming all the elements it's going to zoom those buttons as well. If you want to include a copy of your project or even a sample demonstrating the same set up you can attach it here using the "add attachment" button at the bottom of the reply window.

Thanks so much for the response.
I have managed to figure it out after taking another look at your site and mulling through the questions.
I was able to use the Master feedback section and manipulate the size of my feedback boxes so that they will appear within the zoom.

Thanks so much for responding!
Really love your site.
