for some reason, that trigger thing isn't working for me (I followed what David did, other than it being on the slide master) - anyone have ideas for things that might be wrong that I can check?

These types of things are normally easier to troubleshoot if the .story file is shared.

yeah, I can't do that - it's proprietary, pre-release material.  It's also a rather large file :P

I also am having trouble with this. I did exactly what Dave suggested, even before watching his video, but no joy.

It seems that this was reported to our QA team and they are currently looking into this.

It seems the current workaround is: 

• Delete the video looping trigger
• Create an audio file of just silence that is for 0.1 second or 0.2 seconds (the smallest possible file).
• Create a trigger for the video to play whenever the audio file completes
• Create a trigger for the audio file to play whenever the video completes
