I have built an eLearning course in Storyline that contains Engage created slides. I have published the course into our LMS and everything seems to be working fine, but the slides with Engage interactions will freeze sometimes. They don't always freeze, but it happens quite frequently. The only remedy is to close the course and relaunch. It is very important that this issue is resolved ASAP. This course will be taken by executive leadership.
The course is published in SCORM 1.2 and the Engage parts freeze up in both IE and Chrome browsers with the popup blocker turned off.
Thanks so much for sharing your file with me. I published it for LMS with SCORM 1.2 and uploaded it to SCORM Cloud, which is industry standard for LMS testing. Here's a link to your published file if you'd like to test it. You'll noticed I removed some of the Storyline slides to reduce the file size, but even so, it looks like the Engage slides are working well in the latest versions of Chrome and Internet Explorer.
Are you on the latest update of Storyline 360 and Studio 360? We recently released an update that fixed an issue with Engage files embedded into Storyline, so you'll want to be sure you take advantage of that update. You can follow these steps to complete the update process.
Let me know if the test file I linked above is working on your end, and also whether you have already updated Articulate 360. We'll keep investigating if we need to!
I clicked on your link from my iPad and the same thing happened; it
launches but then the screen goes white and freezes.
I did make the updates on 360 when they were available last month.
Ah, now I'm seeing the freezing as well. It seems to work just fine on desktop browsers, but I'm seeing some inconsistency on an iPad in Safari. I'd like our Support Engineers to take a closer look at this, so I've opened a support case on your behalf (01050990) and shared your file with them. Keep an eye on your inbox from an email from Support@Articulate.com. You'll hear back shortly!
So, there was an update available on the iPad Air 2 to upgrade to iOS 10.3.1. Once I updated the iPad the course is now working fine. I am hoping that did the trick.
I did try your link on my PC and it worked fine, the same course works fine
when launched through the LMS on my PC too. There must be something wrong
with the compatibility between the course and the iPad Air. Do you have any
recommendations?

I used both storyline and engage 360. Safari and Chrome browsers. I used the import tool in storyline to bring in the engage slide.

I am using an iPad Air 2, is there anything to consider when using this device to launch the course?

Hey Joshuua,
Thanks for coming back around with an update. Are you seeing that the course is freezing, even on the iPad updated to iOS 10.3.1?
Since I updated the iPad, everything has been working fine.
Josh
