I am brand new to Storyline 2 and just started working on an online training course. We require our students to view all of the training slides before they can go to the page (slide) that allows them to take the exam (we place a link on the slide that takes them to the exam). Is there a way to make sure they view every slide prior to the course unlocking the slide that allows them to take the exam (the slide with the exam link)?
Sounds like Michael has you covered here, and just wanted to add a note that if you're using the restricted/locked setting for your slides, the user also won't be able to use the next button to advance until the slides timeline has ended.
Thank you both for responding. Ashley, that actually is exactly how we want to lock the slides. We don't want the user to advance through the presentation until the script has been read completely and we also don't want them to be able to take the test until the entire presentation has been viewed. Sounds like the restricted/locked settings is exactly what I need. Thanks! :)

You could try using either Restricted or Locked Navigation. See here for info, under Restricting Navigation.

Perfect Michelle - it sounds like you're all set! :-)
