Entering a name

I have noticed though that when you have the name appear throughout the course, it changes the text formatting.  Is that a glitch?

Being a variable, you can usually reformat the entered text to the style that you want.  Does not have to be the same style (font, weight, decoration) as originally entered.

Be careful with fonts, as if the font is not installed on the users machine for references then it will default to Articulate font

Hi I was wondering how in some Articulate/Storyline presentations you can have the learner type in their name and it will be pronounced in the presentation . How do you do that

Hi, Kazeem -- While I am not aware of a way to have your course "speak" or pronounce the learner's name after they enter it, others may be able to offer some ideas or suggestions you can try. And, it wouldn't hurt to post your question over here in our design-related Building Better Courses forum, as well.
