Unexpected and Erratic Behaviour encountered when using Storyline 360

When I open any storyline file to edit, it would freeze upon making a few simple actions such as clicking on any items and then the program would close unexpectedly. Very often, the file would close unexpectedly when it was just opened for a few minutes or less.

The method didn't work this time round and the issue worsen to the extent where I can't even install the program and would receive error messages. One of the error messages mentioned "Fatal Installation Error".
