Error importing mp3 audio

Hi-
Trying to import an mp3 file 17,931 KB to storyline and keep getting an error message. I also am seeing red lines in criss cross format across bottom by timeline. Help?

You should be having a problem with an audio file of that size.
Are you receiving an error message or is Storyline crashing? Although Storyline supports a wide range of audio file formats (AAC, AIF, AIFF, M4A, MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA), not all codecs and bitrates are supported.
It's recommended that you convert your audio files to 16 bit 44 KHZ PCM WAV for best results.
