ERROR MESSAGE: "Flash Player 10 or Higher Required..."

Starting surge support for an alpha due on Friday and keep getting an error message, "Flash Player 10 or higher required...," that is keeping me from getting into Storyline (1). The thing is, I have Flash Player 10. Has anyone seen this before, or have any guidance?

Hi Chad,

What update of Storyline 1 are you running? That error previously was associated with the upgrade to Flash player 16, and we released update 8 to deal with the error message.  If you have Flash player 10 installed, you will still want to confirm you're running the latest update so I'd begin by downloading and installing update 8 and then I'd also look at updating your Flash player, as I believe it's now on version 18.

Hi, there,

I am running Windows 7, Firefox and the latest Flash player (v25); I have downloaded and installed the Articulate 13 Studio update but am still unable to launch ANY Articulate products. I don't want to retrofit Flash player v14 since I don't know how that will impact other Adobe programs, plus I have to assume that our customers are also using updated versions (v16+) of Flash player. Even if I get Articulate up and running with a retrofit player won't there still be issues client-side? Please, does anyone have a solution? Thanks.
