I've been having this problem too. I've been saving work to my Google Drive folder on the C: drive for months with no problems and have only started getting the error messages in the last few days.
I can get around it by creating a new version every time I save but this is far from ideal.
Hi Jack! Sorry to hear that you experienced this error as well. Do you have an issue if you save to your local hard drive, not the one that points to Google Drive?
For the record, I've found that the problem is with Drive having problems synching temp Storyline files with a .~story extension.
Drive gives an error message of "The file on your computer is missing."
I've also recently had trouble producing Storyline content directly into a Google Drive folder and I think this is also caused by problems with temp files.
Probably the best solution is to pause synching while working with Storyline.
Thanks Jack for the update - and although lots of folks work with Dropbox or Drive as their main way of saving files, we always recommend working locally and then using that as a back up option - but downloading, saving and working off the local copy is best.

Hello Chrissie!
Please make sure you are working locally on your computer as described here.
Also, have you tried coping the file into a new storyline project? You can also look at the information here about erratic behavior in Storyline.
Let us know if you need anything further.

Hi Leslie. It seems to be saving OK outside of GD so that must be where the problem lies. And since posting GD has been acting up in other ways.
Perfect, thanks for the update Jack.
