Hi, Andrew -- Sorry for your issues! I have seen error messages like the one over here in this forum post regarding 'closed streams', but I haven't encountered anything for an 'open stream'. Could you please share a screen shot of the error message?

Please take a look at the troubleshooting steps listed here and let us know if the repair in #2 does the trick for you. If not, please feel free to share your file and we'll gladly investigate further. :)
