Error with embedded videos

Hello! I just started having a problem with a few videos I had embedded within my course that are hosted on Wistia. These videos never gave me any trouble before today- and I'm hoping that maybe someone can provide an explanation/solution as to what suddenly happened.
When I try to create a trigger that is linked to the video it's as if Storyline does not identify the video on the page. I choose "when media completes" and can select the video, but once I click it in the drop-down menu it disappears. The object field is blank.
Also, when I publish to SCORMCloud the videos have a terrible delay and do not sync up with the Storyline seekbar as they used to do automatically.
Please help!

You cannot attach a trigger to a video that is hosted externally on YouTube, Wistia or some other hosting platform.
Okay, that makes sense. Thank you.
Is it possible to sync the seekbar with an embedded video? Or will I need to show the video controls under the video screen? I'm trying to keep a clean consistent look, and would like to use the original seekbar that is featured throughout the course.
The built-in Storyline seekbar has no effect on an external video because it 'doesn't know' anything about the video's length, current positions, etc.
For some reason it is not playing automatically when published, even though I have that option selected on the video toolbar. The published copy requires the learner to click on the video to start it. Any ideas what I might be missing?
Hi Laura,
Where are you viewing the published output? Did you upload to a web server or LMS as detailed here? Also can you confirm that you're viewing the published output in one of the supported browsers here. If being viewed in iOS the vides are likely to require the user to click to play the video.
Thank you for your reply. We are testing on SCORMCloud.
I don't know Wistia very well, but for YouTube videos you can add options to the embed code, one of them being an option to auto start a video. Maybe there is something similar for Wistia-hosted vids.
