I have tried for 2 days now to try to get the results from Essay to appear in moodle and then from what I have read in other posts I tried Scorm Cloud but scorm cloud is showing no interactions after a student finishing the course even though its marked as complete.
Could someone please help me. I have read hundreds of posts and tried many things but just getting the answers from the storyline seems so difficult. I don't want to use Articulate Online as its just too expensive at this stage as we are just starting our online courses and have setup moodle to intergrate to our shopping cart etc.
I'm open to all sorts of options just so long as we can mark the students results.
The essay question is an ungraded question, often this data is not processed by the LMS, the only LMS that reliably reports on this is Articulate online.

The thing is I know it can be done. I've seen essay results in scorm cloud before and other posts saying it can be done and I have seen people be able to get it into moodle before on other posts so I know it can be done. It just seems like my course is not putting out any interactions. Not for essays or for graded answers choice. Nothing is shown under interactions in Scorm Cloud after a student does the course other than they are completed. In another section it just says they are completed. Articulate online is not an option for me at this time because of the development time I would need to integrate into my website and the ongoing costs at this time are too high.

When you choose to publish for your LMS, you'll want to click on the "Reporting and Tracking" button in the publish window, and on the Tracking tab on the left edge of the window, you'll choose one of the following options:
I have two Storyline 360 Blocks in my Rise Course. Both contain Essay Questions. Our LMS provider uses SCORM cloud as an integration piece, so no need for me to test directly there as that is our SCORM feature in our LMS. What are Rise export settings to get it to track and report on the two Storyline360 Blocks (both using Results Slide as tracking and published to SCORM 2004 V4)?
You can use a Storyline block in Rise to track completion, but the individual answers and responses won't be tracked to your LMS. Here's more detail on how to set up the completion tracking.

Have you set a results slide to report to moodle? And set it to by results slide, sounds like it is tracking by slides viewed.
