Exam not working properly

A little background: I have created a few new hire training modules with exams at the end. I have then published them to my Wordpress site via the Storyline plug-in.  I am now regularly getting complaints from users that the exam and the end will freeze part way through, it will not let them proceed to the next question, or won't let the enter an answer and thus not be able to proceed, or the submit button won't work at the end. I have them try on different browsers all with the same results. It works flawlessly for 80-90% of the people, that random minority has consistently had problems. Any ideas as to how to fix or approach this?

A quick side note, I experienced this same phenomena when playing with one of the demo courses sent out in a recent newsletter. It was the detective one, and I eventually got to a point where I could no longer proceed or do what I needed, then when I closed it and reopened it I was taken to the exact same issue. I was disheartened by this, because if that is one of the courses being advertised, it would seem to me the Storyline platform isn't as stable as I had hoped. I'm crossing my fingers this isn't the case, since I have a lot of man hour invested into our courses.

The course was quite large, so I uploaded to my Articulate Online account.

I am not seeing any of the issues you are reporting.

Since more than a majority of your learners have no issue, it may be an issue on the user side I suspect.

Well that is part of the problem, I don't see any of the issues either.  

I have about a dozen or more people do it every week and only about 10% of them have any issues. I would suspect it to be on their end too, but they try on different browsers all with the same issue. At first I just assumed it was individual user error, but the symptoms have been consistent for several months, but only for those 10%.

Leslie is off today - but I wanted to pop in here prior to the holiday break -

Since it seems limited to a subset of users, are you able to determine what browser(s), version and Flash they're using to view the course? I like to use a site such as supportdetails.com to have the users share information on how they're accessing the course?  Are all those users on a different network/internet access? Are you able to test outside of Wordpress as Leslie mentioned? That'll help you narrow down where the issue may be happening. 

You may also want to share that copy that Leslie published with the 10% of users who are having difficulty, as again that'll help us narrow down where the issue may be for them.
