Example template

I am using a simple circle to create a selectable button for showing examples of material. I have four states where normal and selected are the same, with different colors are shown for hover and visited. I don't seem to be able to get the triggers right to show the visited state after they have been accessed and remain that way. If someone could show me where I'm going wrong I'd appreciate it.

Hi Todd
the built-in 'visited' state is activated when the user clicks a button and as with all built states doesn't need a trigger to make it work. Adding triggers can sometimes cause odd behaviour. If you want to control states via a trigger I would duplicate the visited state and create a custom state called 'completed'. Delete the visited states and use the completed state in your trigger.
hope that helps
I've worked on your first slide removing the triggers.
See if that is the behaviour you are after
Wendy, thanks. I didn't realize there were stock states and that the player would fall back on them if nothing was said. Very nice. If you like sci fi books I'd get an ebook to you in thanks.
