Hello, Terry. The search function searches text on all slides in the course, and there isn't a way to exclude certain slides. Are learners getting stuck on that slide with no other navigation options?
do you have any objections of making the content on the slides you don't want searchable as an image instead of text boxes?
Also, on the slides you don't want searchable, you could also create a new text variable with the text in there, and then on that page, in a blank textbox, you would type %myVar%, where myVar is the name of the text variable you made. But I don't think you can put hard returns or hyperlinks in there.

Yes, that's my concern. Of course they can get out using the menu, but it looks like a weird glitch to them. Thanks for replying.

Thanks Bob,
I set up the image and it worked but it would be pretty cumbersome. I tested the variable idea, and that might work for what I need. Have a great day,
I just discovered that the search results will also include HIDDEN text objects. I have submitted this as a bug.
Heard back from Articulate. They have submitted a feature request to allow hidden text objects to be excluded from search results.
In what world is that a feature request and not a bug???? My confidence in the staff is rapidly approaching zero.
