Our organization has been using the total number of slides to trigger course completion, rather than a quiz score. In the course my team is finishing, we now have a few slides that are optional (such as a lightbox slide that show troubleshooting info if the Next button doesn't activate after a branching sequence). Is there any way to exclude those specific slides from being required or do we have to just reduce the total number of slides? Thanks!
There are plenty of ways to track your users progress with optional slides in the course.
First, you could reduce the minimum number of slides that must be viewed. Or if you have a Results Slide, you could track progress with a passing score.
Lastly, you do have the option to add a completion button at the end of the course.
Lauren, thanks for confirming that we were on the right track. We'll go ahead with subtracting the optional slides from the total required to pass. Thanks!
