Exit Course after a few seconds elapsed.

Hi All,
I have a button I created with a trigger to exit the course when the button is clicked. However, I really would like the course to exit 3 seconds after the button is clicked. I was thinking I could use an animation either on screen or off to trigger but not sure the best way to go about doing this.
Also, I have played around with variables but can't seem to figure out how to make a variable work in terms of seconds elapsed. And also, I'm not skilled with using variables at all :-).
Any advice?

Hi Becky! Cool idea.... What if you used a layer here? Show a layer when the button is pressed, and 3 seconds into the layer's timeline, the course closes. You put the trigger on the layer which really has nothing else on it besides the trigger.
Let me know how you make out!
Crystal - I thought about that as well. That is basically what I did - added an "exit" button that jumped to the next slide and that slide had the trigger to end the course at the end of the timeline of 3 seconds.
I found a template that someone else created that had some variables that accomplished the same thing but I could not reverse design it enough to figure out how they did it... Oh well - I was able to get the result to be very similar to what I was looking for.
Thanks for the reply!
