Is there a way to export for translation and include a screenshot of the slide, just as you get with the publish to Word option? If not, consider this a feature request. My reviewers have to look at the Word doc to remember what the screen looks like and then make their changes in the doc exported for translation. On re-import, Storyline could just ignore the screenshot.
Yep, that would need to be a feature request at this point. For now, I guess you'd have to accompany your translation export with a publish to Word copy.
Yes, this is a much needed feature request. To be forced to look at two different docs to do one task is tedious and unnecessary since it could easily be supported. How do I formally make a feature request?
Thanks for the feature request. It would be pure speculation on my part, but I'm guessing that the precise formatting of the translation document has something to do with the exclusion of images; it's possible non-text items could interfere with the import process.
I don't want to over-simplify the issue, but as a programmer, it seems like it would be easy to export the image with the doc like you do for Word publishing already and just set an exception to ignore any images on re-import. Just my 2 cents.
