You can't save a .story file as a PPT or PDF. Here are some options that might get you what you want:
Publish the file to a Word document, and then save the Word file as a PDF.
Note that the Word document includes images of the slides. It also includes slide numbers and any notes. So, depending on your need, you might want to edit the document before saving it as a PDF.
Create your own PPT of the course by inserting screenshots.
Use multiple slides to show the variations on interactive slides.
You could copy and paste the images from a published Word file. Or, if you want higher resolution, capture them yourself with SnagIt (or a similar program).
