Does a method exist to export a screen recording from Storyline2 (that was done using storyline2) to an mp4 so it can be pulled into Camtasia or Reply for further editing? FYI, we realize after the fact that the screen recording should have been done in Camtasia or Replay and then imported in Storyline2.

You can export screencasts as MP4 videos, or you can save individual frames as PNG images. See this tutorial for details.
