is there some way to export text box styles or button styles in Storyline? I was using this styling in Captivate a lot and I was not able to locate it in Storyline.
The text styling in Storyline can't be exported like it can, say in something like Photoshop or Fireworks. The format settings are easy to find. Just right click a graphic object in Storyline and select Format Shape. You can find all the fills, line styles, shadow settings used.
That should help you get and idea for how to recreate in Captivate.
Storyline has a Format Painter like PowerPoint. It's a great tool for quickly applying one style to multiple objects. Here's a quick overview of how that works:
