I have a similar problem in the course I'm working on. My solution was to have an image of the F# keys appear in the screen, and the learner can click them to simulate actually using the F# keys to interact with the simulated software.
Its not a perfect solution, but I couldn't find a way to disable the F Key functionality in the browser with storyline.
When I was working in Captivate, I had to do that too. I figured that might have to do the same in Storyline, but I was hoping that there was a way to turn off the F Keys in IE. After doing some more research, it doesn't look like that will be a viable option for me.
