I am new to Storyline, but I am getting a faint line around logos or images that can look like a shadow as it is only on 2 sides of the graphic. I have checked Picture effects and they are all set to "none". The outlines do not show up in Power Point on the slides.
Highlight the picture and go to Format tab > Picture border and choose No Outline...if that doesn't work you can upload your slide for someone to look at.
I am sorry I am so slow. I do not see "format" on the Master slide. These images were cropped before bringing into SL. I would have to get the originals tomorrow.
I see the outline as well, and it looks to me as if the image has been cropped from the original in those images (not the logo). I was able to crop the logo on the slide master to remove the odd outline, and similar behavior on the second image in the set up - although it obviously cuts off some of the ends. Were they initially edited in powerpoint and than brought into Storyline ?
It seems that it's keeping the original picture element - maybe in case you need to revert to the original? Cropping it within Storyline seems to resolve some of the behavior so you may want to look at modifying the images like that as well. If you can share the original file we're also happy to take a look.
Thanks for the input. Someone also suggesting using a PNG file instead of a jpg and this takes away the outline too. It is odd that it is not on all images.

Wendy, there are no outlines on my images. I have added a sample slide.
The line is not visible prior to Preview or Publishing
Hi Kevin
I think I have removed the one around the logo - go into the master slide and Format > set transparent colour that seemed to remove that outline.
Have you cropped these photos in SL or prior to bringing them in?
Could you upload one of the original images and I'll test that for you

No worries - if I can help you I will...
Can you resend to me the slide that you were able to remove the outline? That might help me.

Thanks. These images were cropped in Photoshop and placed into Power Point.

Thanks. I will try that.
