Faking a quiz with many states, variables and triggers
Mar 09, 2020
Hi,
I'd appreciate it if someone could look at the attached file for me. I've been asked to let the user select 3 options, however there are many more correct answers.
Because there are more than 3 correct answers I don't think I can use a 'pick many' quiz.
So I've used states, variables and triggers to simulate the same thing. However I can't quite get it to work correctly. Selecting all the incorrect answers produces the correct feedback layer.
But so far my triggers are working against each other I think. I can either get the triggers to work for when part of the answers are selected, or when all of the answers are correct, but not for both.
Is it possible to have all three options of feedback or is this too complicated??
Any help or advice would be appreciated!
Lindsey

Hi Lindsey
see if the attached works for you. I created it as a Pick One. The colours and buttons on stage were just for testing.
Hope this helps
Hi Wendy,
Thanks so much for the help. I appreciate it doesn't have the 'partial incorrect' response, but it functions better than mine and is a lot simpler, so I am going forward with yours!
Thank you again,
Lindsey
If you need something else - let me know we might be able to make it work
The client has seen the interaction and is happy with how it functions so we should be OK - thanks again :-)
I'll reply on this thread if there is any update though!
Glad that will work for you Lindsey - all the best with your project :-)
