Faster way to do multiple answers on a page with question feedback for each?

Oct 27, 2022

Please let me know if I am just plain doomed! I am creating slides that have multiple numerical entries (around 6-20) that are reviewed all together via triggers when submitted. All of the numerical entries must be correct in order to get the correct layer and points for the question. On top of that, for each numerical entry instance it will give feedback with a check for correct or an x for incorrect. This way you have an idea if you are on the right track with the calculations as you go through them. In doing this each numerical entry instance pretty much requires 5-6 triggers! Does anyone know of an easier way to do this? Maybe even a template to download?

I've included an example of the storyline and screen shots of what the triggers look like.

Any help would be appreciated as I will be having slides with up to 60 numerical entries!

Hi Kurt,

1. Display all the correct marker on the correct layer.
2. For incorrect feedback layer, add incorrect markers(X) as normal state and use one trigger for each number:  Change state of marker# (X) to correct(✓) when timeline starts incorrect layer if the typed number is correct. So only the correct one will change to state ✓, and the incorrect ones will remain X

With above, users will only see the feedback after submitting.
