[Feature Request] Add a word selection input type

Jun 18, 2019

Hi,

I'm currently using Storyline 3 with a few other people, and in the courses we make we like to have input slides where the learner has to select significant words from a sentence as a practice exercise. However, there's no native way of doing this in Storyline, so we end up having to restyle checkboxes and manually fit them around every word of each sentence, which is very tedious when we have to rewrite these sentences or change the font size.

I was wondering if it would be possible to implement this as a type of freeform question slide so that we'd be able to change the text in these inputs on the fly without misaligning the checkboxes and so that we could have an interface to specify which words are correct to select.

To be clear, what I mean is that Storyline would have a freeform question slide type for word selection, in which one would simply type their text into a textbox and hotspots would be automatically added for every word in that textbox and there would be a quiz-like interface for determining which words should and should not be selected.

Please let me know if this can be added, and thanks for your time!
