Feature Request: Make the Modern Characters editable

Apr 22, 2019

I have been a Storyline user for a while, often creating training in the health care field and have been using Storyline 2 for the longest time. I recently started a new position that bought the new 360 subscription. As I was previewing the new illustration characters I was impressed by their quality. I just noticed that all the scrub wearing characters have stethoscopes around their necks in all their different poses. In my current position, a large majority of my learners are in labratory research that requires them to wear scrubs, but none of them need stethoscopes.

I had assumed the characters were grouped vector objects that I could take apart and then remove the stethoscope.  But that appears to not be possible.

It would be nice to all the characters to be vector and editable without having to export each pose into a rastor application.

I agree! This would make a great feature request. A lot of characters which are dressed in medical uniform are not always in lab coats especially the doctors in the UK.

The medical uniform they wear varies by country and different company policies, so it would be ideal to be able to edit the characters to your own specific needs.

Hi Yusuf!

All of our feature requests are looked at by our team. The challenging part is determining which features are going to make the most impact to our customers. Customizing characters is a feature that we are still tracking. You can see how we manage feature request here.

I also want to add that we released six new characters last week! You'll find them in the Content Library in Articulate 360.
