It would be nice we could insert multiple slides instead of keep clicking one by one in order to make more slides. It's super tedious when we have 20+ slides in 1 scene.
Please take this feature into a big consideration.
Indeed this step can be long, but you can use the classic keyboard shortcuts. That's what I do and in a few seconds I have the number of slides I want.
CTRL+C (to copy) CTRL+V (to paste)
I think that this way you will save time and I hope this tip will help you in the meantime.
In addition, if you paste in story view, you can then select two slides, and duplicate them (CTRL-D), Select 4 slides, duplicate them, select eight slides, duplicate them twice, and you have 20 slides in five steps.
