Feedback Box Sizing

Oct 07, 2013

Hi there... I have some pretty in-depth feedback that I have to use on quiz questions... the feedback box is way too small.... but in some cases the feedback does fit... is there a way to make the feedback boxes change size automatically to match the amount of text?

Hi Cheryl,

You can adjust this for individual questions by

Click on a layer:

  • Right-click on the "answer" text box and choose Format shape from the shortcut menu
  • Click "Text Box" on the left-hand side in the Format shape dialog box.
  • Change the Autofit section to Do Not Autofit
  • Close the dialog box.
  • You'll probably also need to resize the answer text box.

Now on your correct and incorrect layers for your quiz slides,  you'll need to move your continue button and you can type as much (within reason) as you want in the text box.You can adjust this for all quiz questions in the slide by making this same change on Correct and Incorrect layers in the feedback master.

Thank you Ashley... now do you think you can answer one more question?

I want to assign scoring to a multiple select question by each correct selection... currently, I can only score on the overall question... so if the learner clicks 3 of 4 of the correct choices, they still get a zero for a score... but I want them to get 1 point for each correct selection... so they should get 3 points if they select 3 of the correct items or 4 if they select 4 correct choices.

Is there anyway to do this... I've tried it in storyline as well as Articulate Quiz Maker... maybe I'm just not seeing the option, but I've been looking! :)
