I am creating custom looking Correct, incorrect and try again slides so when a user does a knowledge check, they will see these slides.
My issue is that when I remove all of the default objects on the master slides (you cant seem to remove the box), I then insert objects onto the slide and text. This all looks great on screen, however when you create a new knowledge check slide and view the feedback layers, they seem to have default text and a blue button that appears. How can I stop these from displaying??
Instead of deleting the feedback layer objects you don't need from the slide master, try moving them off the slide stage into the gray area around the slide. Then, you can add any new custom objects you'd like. And since you didn't actually delete the unnecessary objects, those placeholders won't appear when you view the feedback layers.
Helpful as always. The thing is I cant seem to move the grey rectangle in the background, it appears locked to the template, yet doesn't appear in the timeline.
Aside from clicking the "Undo" button multiple times until you get back to where you started, there isn't a way to reset the feedback master.
You could create a new feedback master by clicking the Insert Slide Master button. Just keep in mind that you'll have to go back into each feedback layer on the quiz slides and apply the new layout.

This is the same issue in SL2 and 360.
Any ideas?
Ah! light bulb moment!
So you need to remove this from the 'clean' slide and it removes it from the others (correct, incorrect and try again) - sorted I think :)
You got it! You have to remove that object from the very top slide in the list. Glad you figured it out!
Yeah that makes sense. Is there a way to reset the slide back to how it was before I tinkered with it?
I have a project that I am currently in and the top slide is blank now, yet the default text and button displays over the top. See attached
