Feedback master templates

Dec 04, 2018

How do you tell which slides are using which feedback master? I have been through every slide and changed it to the master that I want to use but I still have 5 slides using "modern" template but I can't find what slides these are. Is there a way I can tell other than looking in the Question/Slide view section?

Thanks

Hi Lesley,

You'll need to look at the individual slides and their layers to identify what feedback master they're using. You could also try adding an easily seen object to your Modern feedback master and then that's easier to spot when looking at your layers (i.e. a large red circle or something).

Hope that helps!

Hello Indrani,

Thanks for sharing your .story file so that we can understand what you are seeing with your feedback layers.

I was able to see the text without the borders as you referred to above, but it looks like you applied the blank feedback layer instead of the specific ones designed.

If you apply the correct feedback layers, the outlines come with it, but I do believe some formatting may need to be adjusted:

Hope that helps :)

Hi Indrani!  To change which feedback layout a slide is using, you'll have to do it for each slide individually.  However, when you make a change to a layout, it should apply to all the slides that are using that layout.

It sounds like you're trying to select a different feedback layout for your slides, but it's changing back to one you don't want.  Could you share a screencast of the steps you're taking?  And if possible, share an updated version of your file, and let me know specifically which feedback layout you want to apply, which slides, and which feedback layout keeps reappearing.  I want to make sure I get it right when testing your file!
