File compatibility between SL2 and SL 360?

same rules apply as with SL1 to SL2.

You can open a SL2 project in 360 - SL will create a SL2 backup file and the opened file becomes a 360 file.

You cannot open a 360 file in SL2 to edit it.

Hi Richard! It's super easy to upgrade a Storyline 1 or Storyline 2 course to Storyline 360. Here's how.  However, keep in mind Storyline 360 projects can't be opened, edited, or published with previous versions of Storyline.

We have an external 3rd party working on some ealerning in 360 and my team and I all use S2.

Is it possible to use SAVE AS, to save the 360 file as an S2 file?

There is no way to save backwards from 360.

Hello Alyssa,  I've just signed on to our college's Articulate 360 subscription. I've already created some courses in Rise.  I'm getting ready to begin converting some of our SL2 courses to 360 - I installed 360, but I'm not receiving the upgrade prompt. Thoughts?  Thank you. Paula

Hi Paula, 

When you go to open one of your Storyline 2 files using Storyline 360, that's when you'll see the message to upgrade. Can you let me know what you're seeing instead? Or do the files just not open?
