Is there any way to keep relative hyperlinks when publishing to a CD? Apparently Storyline changes all hyperlinks to files to absolute addresses. This makes publishing to CD pretty useless if referencing any external files like Word, etc. Not sure where to report bugs, but this one has a painful bite unless there is a workaround.
Can you help to clarify your scenario a bit, please? Where will the external Word files be located--also on the CD? ...elsewhere?
Can you share your .story and .docx files with the community so that we can take a look with you? If not, would you care to submit a Support Case so that our team can troubleshoot the problem?
Please let us know if you need anything else. Thanks!
Sorry for late reply, but other tasks took front stage for a while. The scenario is a CD with multiple safety courses and a reference library. Materials are referenced from various courses, but also need to be available for download/printing without going through the course again. I found a work around by creating a separate "Library" course for the resources, but this means that they are duplicated at least twice on the disk since each course forces links to its own reference file.
I am having the same problem when I burn the SL content to a CD. It can not find the external files anymore. (in my case PDF's). Could you tell me if your problem is already solved or the way you used to work aroound it?
