I have a customer with poor internet to be able to reliably access training on an LMS. I can export the training onto CD or USB to be done in stand-alone mode but this risks the training being passed around to be continually used by anyone without the distribution being controlled. Has anyone found a method of restricting use to just the person intended for a period?
I guess you could write a .bat file that would start the training. Give the user instructions on how to run the .bat, rather than access the .html file. I think you can set the batch file to check the date, and delete a file after a set date. It would only defeat a semi-literate user, but the truth is that if you put the actual file in a user's hands you have to expect them to find a way to share it if they want.
It looks like your email signature came through when you replied via email. You can remove that if needed by clicking ‘Edit’ beneath your response. Here’s a quick Peek video if you need help.
Looks like you have two logins, Ian. That would explain the different avatars for you as well.
It's no worries on our part, just wanted you to be aware. If you need to update it, you should be able to login with your other account and see the 'Edit' option as expected.

Thanks Walt. I will investigate that and I suspect the users will not look
for ways around the coding but you never know do you?!

I would if I could Leslie but there is no 'Edit' under the response - only under the original post.
