We have a lot of embedded references to external files (Jump to URL/File) in our courses. (approx 12.500 links in total).
Our management has now decided to reorganise our network drives and thus rendering all references void.
Besides relinking all references by hand, is there an other more elegant way of achieving this, eg via find and replace ? The name of the files haven't changed, it is hust the directory structure that has changed.
I'm not sure this is possible within Storyline itself, but after you publish, you should be able to perform the find and replace within the frame.xml file that is generated in the published output.
If Steve's solution doesn't work, then you could attempt to faux-translate the story. I bet the url's will be there for you, at which point you can perform a search & replace to correct the associations, then re-import (to a new file - just in case -).
@Alexandros, thanks for the idea...I tried the export for translation, but it doesn't reveal the URL's/File-names :(
