Flash 10 or higher

I haven't used Storyline in a few months. The last time I did I got the error about needing Flash 10 or higher. Installing the latest version of SL fixed the issue.

I have now needed to use it again and have the same error. I have uninstalled and reinstalled SL and also Flash without success.

 

How do I fix this?

Just to verify, you're using Storyline 2 update 12- correct? This was an issue that had been addressed in a previous update, so I wanted to be certain. You can download the latest update from right over here

You also mentioned uninstalling and reinstalling, were these the steps you took when doing so?

Yes, I had the issue previously and fixed it with that previous update which is why it is strange that it has reoccurred.

The only thing I wasn't doing from that process was a second restart after reinstalling. I have redownloaded SL via your link to ensure I wasn't unintentionally downloading from another source. I have followed those steps of uninstall, reboot, reinstall (using the file from your link), reboot. I am still having it tell me I need to update flash.

I have installed it on my home PC so that I can keep working and it is working there no problem.

When I got the error previously, simply updating fixed it. I then completed that project and didn't touch SL for a couple of months. It was only when I went to start something new this week that the error returned without having changed anything from when it was previously working.
