We are going through our content to see what needs to be updated by end of 2020. All Flash zipped files will need to be converted. But what about the files with published as "html with Flash fallback" or "Flash with html fallback".
Do these need to be republished as well? I've seen conflicting info.
Your published courses will continue to work if they include HTML5 output. However, if you have Flash-only courses, you’ll need to republish them to HTML5 before December 31, 2020 for them to continue working.
Great question, Jacqueline and David. I'm happy to shed more light on this topic!
Several browsers started to block Flash and launch a prompt to allow it until its sunset on December 31, 2020. The article Lauren linked to above outlines excellent FAQs on the sunsetting of Flash!
Published courses that include HTML5 output will continue to work, but any Flash-only courses need to be republished to HTML5. I recommend publishing to HTML5-only to ensure a Flash-free experience from now and onward.
Let me know if there's anything else I can answer!

Hello Lauren,
Thank you for your reply. So I am just confirming that files published as:
Flash with HTML fallback
and
HTML with Flash fallback
will both work after Flash is discontinued and we do not need to convert these to "HTML only"?
Thanks for any further confirmation.
Jacqueline
I also want to verify this as all of our courses for one of our main clients were published as "Flash with HTML fallback".
Thanks in advance for your help!
