Flash Player

Hello,
I realize Flash has been discontinued as of 2021. We currently use Storyline 3, I just updated the software, however when I try to open the player settings I get an error message stating the software has to shut down. This only happens when I click on the player settings icon . Also prior to the software opening, I get an onscreen message stating "Flash player 10 or higher for internet explorer is required to run Articulate Storyline, go to Adobe.com to get Flash and download..." Not sure if this is an automated message that hasn't been removed yet. Considering most of these responses are more than 2 years old, feeling pretty outdated.
Thanks for any insight.

See attachment. Odd this shows up considering Flash has been discontinued? Please help!
Hi Lee!
So sorry you're running in this error message! You've reached out to our Support Engineers for help and my teammate, Christopher, sent additional troubleshooting steps. Great call! Please let us know if you have additional questions!
Just reading this thread. What was the result? Is flash required to run SL3?
As of the December 2019 update to Storyline 3, Flash was no longer required to use SL3.

If you're having issues, I'd suggest checking which version you're running and if an update is needed.
I ran into this issue when helping a client troubleshoot Storyline 3. We completely uninstalled Storyline and re-downloaded the latest version from the Articulate website. Problem solved for us - just in case this helps anyone else.
