If we have used flash with HTML5 fallback publish settings and a course was launched using flash prior to the end of 2020, but the learner did not finish the course and then tried to re-launch the course in 2021, should the course re-open where it left off but with HTML5 setting? Or will the course continue to try and open in flash which would require the learner to be reset in the LMS?
Great question! It depends on which browser the learner was using. Most browsers haven't supported Flash prior to the end of 2020, so there is a good chance the learner was viewing the content using HTML5 fallback.
The learner should be able to pick up where they left off without any issues.

The big problem is that Flash is currently NOT really "OFF".
Instead, it displays a static Flash logo and links to EOL information.
So there's no way courses will switch to HTML5 version and we had to republish all courses to pure HTML5...
