Floating text boxes

Hi All,
I have a text box that has a show/hide function using triggers and variables (which allows the show/hide rule to carry over multiple slides). The text box is also a 'free form' object so now it is a floating text box that toggles on and off when set, the issue I have is that when I switch the text box from hidden to visible the text box re-appears in it's starting position and not where it was hidden.
Does anyone know a way to keep the text box in the same position regardless of what state it is in?

Hi Luke,
I'm not sure I'm following how you've set it up as a "floating text box." If you're changing the state of the box, that can also include it's location on the screen. Any chance you can share the .story file here with us to take a look at? If you're unable to post in the forums, you're welcome to share with privately here and it'll help determine if there is another trigger missing or if this is expected.
Hi Ashley,
The text box is actually a shape converted into a free form object, this allows me to drag it around the screen. The triggers and variables are there to show and hide the text box if and when required.
I have attached the .story file, hopefully it will all make sense to you.

Hi Luke,
Thanks for sharing the .story file as that definitely helped me understand! The change of a state can also indicate a change of location within the slide. So although you are dragging the item somewhere else, you're changing the state and it's reverting back to the original location.
