Focus Highlight Not Showing on Secondary Monitor/Scaled to Full Browser Width

Apr 30, 2018

Saw something in a project today I've never seen before: when viewing a published project at full browser width with project scaled to fill browser, on my secondary monitor, some of my objects (specifically, oval shapes that have text, triggers and multiple states) are not showing focus highlighting.

Those same objects will show focus highlighting if the browser isn't at full width or if I view it at full browser width on my laptop screen.

Anyone else seen this?

Hi Douglas.  Those details are really helpful.  I need a little more information to look into this:

  • Can you confirm what version of Storyline you’re using?  Go to Help > About Storyline.
  • In which browser are you seeing this behavior?
  • Can you test out my file made with Storyline 360 and let me know if it behaves the same way for you?

Thanks for the help!

Hi Crystal,

I'm using the most recent Storyline 3 update 3: 3.3. 15007.0

I'm seeing it in Chrome and not in FF or IE.

I didn't see it in your file, but I also didn't even see it consistently in
my own file. If you want to take a look, it's in this file, in the Seven
Tests of Just Cause section and slide:
