font change in text entry on lms

Hi all

We're experiencing an issue with font changes after uploading a module to another LMS.

I created a module that refers to the learner by name after they enter their details at the beginning of the module - a routine use of the text entry facility! The references are in the course theme fonts, and look fine when we publish and upload to our own LMS.

However, now they're on the client's LMS, the fonts are changing to what looks like Times New Roman. This is only happening on text associated with the text entry reference.

This is a known issue and is expected behaviour, fonts are not embedded for text entry fields and if it is not installed on your users machine it will display a serif based font.

I normally try to stick to using Arial for text entry fields because of this

Hi Phil

Thanks for your quick reply. The client raised the issue; she could see it in the correct font when she viewed it on our LMS, but not on her own (externally hosted) LMS. Would this be because the LMS provider doesn't have the font, or the client?
