Font color on buttons

Mar 27, 2019

When creating new theme colors, every time I update the color for Custom 1 (default button color) the FONT color changes from white to black. Where can I change this? It doesn't matter if the color I choose for my default button is dark or light, the font color reverts to black. So when I insert a new button, I constantly have to change the font color.

This happens in SL3 and SL360. It's not new, has always happened as long as I've used SL.

Thanks!

Hi there, Nicole. Without making any font changes, when I chose a new theme color for buttons, the text remained white for me. Check out my quick Peek here

  • Did you make any changes to the text colors?
  • Is this happening on all new files?

If you'd like to share an example file that's giving you trouble, I'm happy to have a look with your permission. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.

Thanks Crystal. When I initially make new theme colors, the font stays white on the buttons. If I make a color change and save the theme again, it reverts to black font. But if I create a new file and apply the color theme, the button font is white. So for now, since I haven't gotten too far into this file, I will start over and not make any other theme color changes.
