Font family not working properly
Apr 10, 2019
Hi all,
I am using a font SF Hello for the course.
Even after installing the complete font family, only the Regular version on the font is visible from the drop-down font selection menu.
If I choose to bold the font, it automatically choose any other version of the font family (Bold-Italics in this case).
The font is in OTF format.
Is there any work around for this so that I can install the complete font family ?
Regards,
Vaibhav

Hello Vaibhav,
You can confirm the font installation by going to C:\Windows\Fonts. This folder stores all the fonts in the computer. Please also make sure that it is not hidden.
Let me know if that works for you.
Hi Vaibhav,
In addition to Alvin's recommendation - can you check that the font types are available in another tool like Word or Powerpoint? If you're seeing them there, that should also work in Storyline. You'll want to make sure that Storyline and other applications which would use the font were shut down during install too.
Hi All,
This particular font is basically a Mac OS based font and is working fine in Adobe Photoshop. But as you mentioned, it is not working correctly in either MS Word or MS Powerpoint.
Is there workaround for this ?

Hi Vaibhav,
You may check this link for more information on the SF Hello font and MS Office products.
I would also suggest to check the FAQs for working with Articulate 360 on a Mac
Hi Vaibhav,
Just wanted to pop in to share another thought.
You mention that you're using an OTF font and I had another customer today mention that using the TTF version works for them.
