Font issues when viewing course from network server or a "Thin Client"

Nov 26, 2014

When I publish the course to my LMS and access it from my laptop, it looks great. But when I access from a "Thin Client" on our network server, the font is very sketchy and hard to read.  Any ideas?

I'm currently using Storyline 1 in a trial period to make sure it's compatible with my LMS.

Hi Joyce,

Several people have noticed that when you include a variable in a text box the output looks cleaner.

What some people do is include a variable with no value in every text box. For example, you could create a variable called "x" but don't assign a value to it, then append "%x%" (without quotes) to each text box.

Be warned, that this approach plays havoc with your layout. The text will no longer be in exactly the same place in preview/publish as it was in edit mode.

Cheers,
Simon
