I am currently working with the font "Aracne". It shows up in Storyline just fine but if I preview it or publish it it defaults back to something different.
Thanks for letting us know what's happening. Are you on the latest update of Storyline 360 (Update 5)? That update included a fix for several font issues, so you'll want to update your software if you haven't already.
You can double-check the update you're running by clicking the Help tab, then About Storyline.
I have a client who experienced this today. She updated to the latest version of SL360 this morning and after updating SL360 to the current public release. Fonts such as (Oswald, Roboto, and others) didn't display in preview correctly. Fonts are substituting, some even as wingdings. Prior to the updates this was working fine. I can't replicate it at my end even with the same file and the same version of SL. The client will uninstall 360 and reinstall it tomorrow to see if this corrects the issue. Failing that, has this been reported previously and if so, is there a repair or fix that can be applied? Can she rollback to a previous version of SL, if so, what's the best way to do this?
Access the Fonts folder from the Windows Control Panel (Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Fonts), then right-click and delete all Oswald and Roboto fonts.

Hi Stephanie! Thanks for letting us know what's going on. Strange that the two fonts you mentioned are part of the group that gets automatically installed on your computer when you install Articulate Storyline 360. I'm curious if your client now has two versions of the same font file in their Windows Fonts folder.
Could you ask your client to try these steps?
Following these steps fixed the error for the client. Thanks!
Wonderful! Thanks for coming back to give me an update.
