Whenever I import a Powerpoint slide/s into articulate storyline, the font size for all text is reduced. This has been happening consistently and instead of reformatting after the import, I am posting in hope that there is a solution that would save me time in doing so.
Hi- I was wondering if anyone has run into an issue with importing an HD 16:9 powerpoint presentation into Storyline 360? I have tried this numerous times,
1) just importing directly-cut off artwork at the bottom of the slide
2) starting a new project and changing the SL 360 to 16:9 first, then importing the pptx
3) the only way I was able to fix this was to go into the slide size settings in the pptx file, chose custom settings, select On-screen 16:9 (see attachment), and then open a new SL 360 project and import. then the artwork is not cut off.
what is the difference between the On-screen 16:9 vs 16:9?
It looks like Powerpoint's Widescreen setting has the same aspect ratio of On-Screen show, but the overall dimensions of the Widescreen slide are larger.
Widescreen 16:9
On-screen Show 16:9
This inch to pixel converter is a handy tool that will help you choose the precise slide size in Storyline.
For example, if the slide size in PowerPoint is 10 inches x 5.625 inches, that converts to 960 pixels x 540 pixels in Storyline.

Hi Megan!
This is probably due to your ppt slide size vs your Storyline story size. I think this article will give you some insight.
