Font sizes

Aug 01, 2014

Hi all,

Can anyone help me with an issue?

I've got text entry boxes within an assessment, which recorded with a default font size of 12... I'm having to change it to an 8 in order to fit properly in the box, but when I save the file, it goes straight back to being a 12... Is there anything i can do to stop this behaviour?

I've uploaded a couple of screenshots to illustrate.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul,

You'll also want to ensure that you're working on your project files as described below, as it sounds like you're experiencing some odd behavior:

If you're still having odd behavior, can you share your .story file here with us? You can upload it to the the forums using paperclip icon.

Hi Both,

Pierre, that didn't seem to make any difference, I've played with those and not got anywhere. Thanks for the suggestion..

Ashley, we have a company policy to save to a network drive, for back up purposes, so that is what I have been doing, as I wasn't aware of the the problems of not doing so, and this is the first time I've had an issue. I can move the file across to my C drive if needed though, so I'll try it today and see if it fixes it. I don't want to have to re-record all this, (the amount of prep it takes to set up a fake hospital patient to work with you wouldn't believe)!

Thanks for the advice :-)

Hi Paul,

I'd suggesting trying to import it into a new project first as described here, as that may help resolve any odd behavior associated with corruption. It's not a guaranteed method to resolve all odd issues from working on a network drive, but it's definitely the best first step to see if you can resolve the issue. Going forward I would suggest working on the files from your local drive, and once saved, transferring that file to the network for back up purposes.
